The service
MomoPDF provides free PDF tools that run in your browser and process files on your own device. All tools are free. A paid Pro plan is planned but can’t be bought yet, and it will come with its own terms. We may change, pause or remove tools at any time.
Your files and your responsibility
- You’re responsible for the files you process and for having the right to use and change them.
- Don’t use MomoPDF to break the law, to infringe other people’s rights, or to get around protections on documents you aren’t allowed to change.
- Always keep your original files. MomoPDF creates new copies and never changes the files on your device.
Signatures and edits
- Sign PDF adds a visual signature, a picture of your signature on the page. It isn’t a certified digital signature. Whether a visual signature is acceptable for a document is for you and the other party to decide.
- White-out in Edit PDF only covers content visually. The text underneath is still in the file and can be found or copied. Don’t use it to remove confidential information.
- Edit PDF adds content on top of pages. It can’t change text that’s already in the PDF.
No guarantee
The tools are provided as they are, free of charge. We work hard to produce correct files, but we can’t guarantee that every PDF works or that every feature of a PDF (such as accessibility labels) is kept. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses caused by using the tools.
Open-source software
MomoPDF is built with open-source software, listed on the open-source licenses page with their licenses.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
